LITERATURE REVIEW: EFEKTIVITAS KONSELING KARIR DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMATANGAN KARIR PADA SISWA

Abstrak

Career maturity is one of the important aspects in individual development where career development is needed, and needed by a student. In the context of education, the role of career counseling is becoming increasingly relevant to help students face these challenges. Career guidance and counseling aims to enable students to understand, obtain information and solidify their choices for their future. Career counseling is a fundamental need in helping individuals determine career directions that are in accordance with their potential, interests, and values. The criteria for articles that have been determined are articles within the last 10 years, using experimental methods to improve career maturity, and the subjects in this study are students. This study found that there were 10 relevant articles according to the predetermined criteria. Effective methods in developing students' career maturity include: group counseling, the use of visual media (such as career cards and inspirational videos), “reach your dreams” themed training, trait and factor approach, and Cognitive information processing (CIP). These methods are effective when evidenced by the pre-test and post-test in the experimental group. There was an increase in career maturity in students after the experiment.
